The Georgetown Hoyas look to extend their three-game winning streak on Saturday afternoon as they travel to Western Pennsylvania to face the Pitt Panthers. Georgetown is just a game behind Syracuse in the loss column, while Pittsburgh's season has spiraled into freefall.
Just this week, the Panthers finally broke an eight-game losing streak that started before Christmas. They were ranked in the top ten in the country at one point this season, but an 0-7 start to the Big East schedule has Jamie Dixon searching for answers. The Panthers, however, are 11-0 all-time against top-ten teams at the Oakland Zoo so John Thompson III's club should not expect a Saturday afternoon walkover.
