Georgetown Vs. Pittsburgh: Hoyas Look To Earn Tough Road Win

The No. 9 Georgetown Hoyas (16-3, 6-2) travel to Western Pennsylvania Saturday to take on the struggling Pittsburgh Panthers (12-9, 1-7), but despite the Panthers' record the Hoyas are in for a tough battle. Pittsburgh is 11-0 all-time at Petersen Events Center against top-10 competition, and the Panthers have won four of their last five contests with the Hoyas overall.

Georgetown, winners of three straight games, has not played since a 52-50 win over Rutgers last Saturday. The Hoyas prevailed despite shooting just 29.3 percent from the floor. Georgetown has held opponents to 38 percent shooting during their modest winning streak.

Pittsburgh will be helped immensely by the return of Tray Woodall to the lineup. The junior guard missed six games this year with an abdominal injury, but his 17 points and nine assists helped the Panthers garner their first conference win of the season Wednesday in a 86-74 triumph over Providence.
