Maryland Vs. North Carolina State Final Score: Terps Hang Tough, But Fall, 79-74

The Maryland Terrapins hung tough in their first true road game of the season, but just couldn't quite pull through at the end, falling to North Carolina State, 79-74. The Terps were able to cut the lead to five points with two minutes remaining and hit one final three-pointer to make it a three-point game in the closing seconds, but two free throws iced it for the Wolfpack.

Terrell Stoglin scored a game-high 25 points, including that three-pointer in the final seconds, while Alex Len added 12 points and 11 rebounds, but the Terps couldn't stop North Carolina State's balanced attack. C.J. Leslie led the way with 20 points and 11 rebounds, while Scott Wood scored 19 points in support.

The Terps fall to 10-4 and 0-1 in the ACC, as they saw their seven-game winning streak snapped. North Carolina State moves to 12-4 and 1-0 in the ACC, and has won six games in a row.
