The Alabama Crimson Tide and Oregon Ducks convincingly stay put atop the USA Today Coaches Poll, but there was significant movement throughout the rankings after several marquee losses yesterday. South Carolina's loss to LSU and West Virginia's loss to Texas Tech significantly shook up the remaining top spots of the poll as Kansas St., Florida, Notre Dame, and LSU all rose to Nos. 3 through 6, respectively.

South Carolina fell to No. 8 and West Virginia fell to No. 15.

Dropping out of the poll were Texas, Louisiana Tech, and Iowa State. Texas lost in a blowout to Oklahoma in the Red River Rivalry, Louisiana Tech lost in a shootout to No. 19 Texas A&M, and Iowa State fell to No. 3 Kansas State at home.

Texas Tech and Arizona State jump into the poll for the first time this year, while Michigan re-enters at No. 25 after shutting out Illinois at home.
