The Washington Wizards suffered a narrow 104-101 preseason loss to the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday.

Trevor Booker led the team with 12 points, and Jordan Crawford and A.J Price combined for 15 assists, but the Wizards shot only 43 percent from the floor, while the Raptors got solid performances by their two offseason acquisitions, Landry Fields and Kyle Lowry.

Minutes were distributed liberally by Randy Wittman as seven Wizards players scored in double figures.

Rookie Bradley Beal scored 11 points on 3-of-8 shooting in 23 minutes, but he had a game-tying three-pointer blocked in the final seconds by former Wizard Dominic McGuire.

Jan Veasley also chipped in with 11 points despite committing four fouls, and so did Emeka Okafor, who did it primarily with his five trips to the free-throw line.

The Wizards' next pre-season game is Saturday, when they take on the Milwaukee Bucks at 8:30 p.m.
