The Washington Redskins have six players listed on their Friday injury report as the team prepares for a divisional showdown against the New York Giants on Sunday at MetLife Stadium, via John Keim of The Washington Examiner.
Among the five, two of the players are starters on offense. Wide receiver Pierre Garcon is doubtful to play as the 26-year-old continues to deal with a right foot problem and fullback Darrel Young has a hamstring issue. Garcon did not practice on Friday.
While Garcon is the only player listed as doubtful, the Redskins have several other players listed as questionable on their injury report, including several players in their secondary. Cornerbacks Cedric Griffin and David Jones are among them, as Griffin is dealing with a hamstring injury and Jones is currently nursing an Achilles injury, while safety Jordan Pugh is recovering from a concussion.
The Redskins will certainly be missing safety Brandon Meriweather on Sunday, who has been ruled out for Sunday's game because of a knee injury.
Across from the Redskins, the New York Giants also have injury concerns of their own, highlighted by starting running back Ahmad Bradshaw. The running back is dealing with a foot injury and is questionable for Sunday's game.
