The Washington Wizards have exercised team options on six of their players for the 2013-14 season, including the fourth-year contract option for point guard John Wall, Wizards president Ernie Grunfeld announced on Friday.

Along with Wall, Trevor Booker, Kevin Seraphin and Jordan Crawford also had their fourth-year rookie contract options exercised. Jan Vesely and Chris Singleton are entering their second year with the Wizards, but also had their third-year rookie contract options picked up.

All six players were acquired by the Wizards in either the 2010 or 2011 NBA draft and were drafted in the first round. Three of the six were acquired via draft-day trades.

The decision is nothing but a formality for some of the players, such as Wall, who is entering his third season with the Wizards since being selected with the No. 1 pick in the 2010 NBA draft. The same could also be said for Vesely, who was taken by Washington No. 6 overall in the 2011 NBA draft.
