The Virginia Tech Hokies look to work back toward the top of the conference standings as they travel to face No. 19 Clemson Saturday in a battle of ACC foes.
Virginia Tech enters Saturday's contest with a record of 4-3, 2-1 in the ACC. They trail the Coastal division leading Miami Hurricanes by less than one game. The Hokies ended a two-game losing streak Saturday as they defeated Duke, 41-20.
Virginia Tech was lead by freshman running back J.C. Coleman against Duke. Coleman rushed for 183 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 attempts.
Clemson takes the field Saturday in the midst of a two-game win streak. Clemson's is 5-1 on the season, 2-1 in the conference, with their only loss coming to Florida State on Sept. 22. The Tigers trail Maryland and Florida State in the Atlantic division standings.
