Redskins vs. Giants inactives: Pierre Garcon out for Washington

The inactive lists for both the New York Giants and Washington Redskins are out, and as expected, Giants starting running back Ahmad Bradshaw will play in the NFC East showdown at MetLife Stadium (1 p.m. ET on FOX) while the Redskins will be without wide receiver Pierre Garcon.

All week, Bradshaw had been battling a foot injury that forced him to be limited in practice Thursday and miss Friday. However, it seems the Giants' leading rusher was held out so he could play against the division rival today.

Bradshaw will be looking to put together his third straight 100-yard performance. Two weeks ago, the 5'10, 214-pound tailback ran for 200 yards on 30 carries in a 41-27 victory against the Cleveland Browns. Last week, Bradshaw rushed for 116 yards on 27 attempts in a 26-3 victory at the San Francisco 49ers.

Meanwhile, Garcon will miss his second straight game because of a foot injury. Last week, without Garcon, Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III connected with veteran wide receiver Santana Moss a team-high four times in a 38-26 victory over the Minnesota Vikings.

The rest of the Giants' inactive list looks like this: safety Kenny Phillips, linebacker Jacquian Williams, defensive tackle Rocky Bernard, wide receiver Jerrel Jernigan, defensive end Adewale Ojomo, tackle James Brewer and tight end Adrien Robinson.

The Redskins inactive list features: quarterback Rex Grossman, safety Brandon Meriweather, defensive end Doug Worthington, guard Josh LeRibeus, guard Adam Gettis and cornerback David Jones.
