The Washington Redskins have dropped one spot in this week's installment of SB Nation's power rankings to No. 14 overall following Sunday's loss against the New York Giants.
After rookie standout Robert Griffin III completed a 30-yard touchdown pass to Santana Moss with less than two minutes left in the game, it appeared as though the Redskins were on their way to victory. That, of course, was before Eli Manning and Victor Cruz managed to one-up them with a 70-yard touchdown pass 19 seconds later.
While the majority of power polls are raising questions about the Redskins defense, there is no question about Griffin, who was universally praised as one of the most electrifying players in the game today.
In terms of the polls, CBSSports.com dropped the team one spot to No. 21 overall while ESPN.com dropped them three spots to No. 18 on their list. FoxSports.com dropped the Redskins three spots to No. 14 overall.
