The Washington Capitals' American Hockey League affiliate, the Hershey Bears, have three games scheduled this weekend.
After winning two of three games last weekend, the Bears will look to match or better that performance this weekend, which kicks off on the road Friday night against the Connecticut Whale. The Whale have struggled this season losing their first four contests of the season. However, the club registered their first win on Wednesday night and will look to build off that success on Friday.
Following the game, Hershey will travel back home to kick-off the first of consecutive home games. On Saturday, the Bears will face the Albany Devils, who have struggled this season. Fresh off a loss against the Whale on Wednesday, the Devils only have one win this season, which was their only road game this year.
On Sunday, the Bears will play their first game of the year against the Pittsburgh Penguins affiliate, the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins. While the baby Pens have three games this weekend, they have yet to win a game this season.
