The Virginia Cavaliers return to conference play in Week 6 when they travel to Durham to face an upstart Duke team. The Cavs had their doors blown off in their first ACC game, losing 56-20 to the triple-option attack of Georgia Tech. After starting the season with two straight wins, the Cavaliers enter the game bruised and battered and on a three-game losing streak. Last week's home loss to Louisiana Tech was a low moment in the Mike London era, and the Blue Devils are not the typical Coastal Division cupcake.
Duke opened its conference slate with an upset win over Wake Forest last week, knocking off the Deacs in Winston-Salem. The Blue Devils are throwing for more than 300 yards per game this season, among the top 25 statistically in the FBS. They're averaging 37 points per game, running it up on inferior competition in the month of September. The Devils are actually slight favorites at home, with the oddsmakers setting the line at one.
Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET at Wallace Wade Stadium, and the broadcast is available on ESPN GamePlan and online at ESPN3.
