The North Carolina Tar Heels will look to extend their current two-game winning streak at home on Saturday when they host the Virginia Tech Hokies.

The Tar Heels are coming off lopsided home wins over East Carolina and Idaho in the last two weeks following back-to-back losses to Wake Forest and Louisville. North Carolina currently ranks in the top 20 nationally in both points scored, with 43.2 -- 12th in the nation -- and points against, with 14.6 --19th best in the nation.

Virginia Tech enters its second ACC contest following a loss on Saturday at FedEx Field to the Cincinnati Bearcats, 27-24. The Hokies were also upset by the Pittsburgh Panthers, 35-17, on Sept. 15.

Last season, Virginia Tech withstood a 14-0 fourth-quarter Tar Heels rally to edge North Carolina at home, 24-21. In that game, quarterback Logan Thomas threw for 195 yards and two touchdowns.

Currently, North Carolina is a 5½ point favorite, according to OddsShark. The over/under is sitting at 50.

Kickoff is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. ET at Kenan Stadium. The game can be seen on ESPN GamePlan or ESPN3.
