North Carolina Vs. Virginia 2012: TV Schedule, Game Time, Spread And More

Cavaliers, Tar Heels have a Thursday night game this week.

After a mid-season slide, the Virginia Cavaliers will try to win their third straight game when they host the North Carolina Tar Heels on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

The Cavaliers enter Thursday night's contest with a 4-6 (2-4) record. Virginia started the season with back-to-back wins, then lost six games in a row, and are now riding a two-game winning streak. The Cavs are coming off a narrow 41-40 victory over Miami on Saturday.

The Tar Heels enter the game at 6-4 (3-3). North Carolina has lost two of its last three games. It was on the wrong side of a 68-50 game against Georgia Tech on Saturday.

The Tar Heels are 3-point favorites for the ACC game.

Running back Kevin Parks has been solid for the Cavs this season. He has rushed for 660 yards and five touchdowns on 140 carries. Michael Rocco has led the passing game with 1,585 yards passing and 12 touchdowns.

North Carolina quarterback Bryn Renner has completed 63 percent of his passes this season for 2,736 yards and 20 touchdowns. He's thrown seven interceptions.
