2012 ACC Football Standings: Clemson leads Atlantic, Georgia Tech leads Coastal

A look at the ACC standings.

Sam Sharpe-US PRESSWIRE

The Maryland Terrapins currently sit in fifth place in the Atlantic Division of the ACC standings with a 2-5 record in the conference and a 4-7 overall record. In the midst of a five-game losing streak, Maryland has allowed their two most recent opponents to score at least 40 points while holding the Terrapins to less than 14. The team's most recent win came against Virginia.

The Cavaliers aren't doing so well either, as they currently sit in the cellar of the Coastal Division. After ending a six-game losing streak with consecutive wins, Virginia dropped its most recent game against the North Carolina Tar Heels. They will face Virginia Tech on Saturday in the season finale.

Virginia Tech sits in fifth place in the Coastal division and has a 3-4 conference record in addition to a 5-6 overall record.
