A season after winning eight games, the Virginia Cavaliers have fallen flat on their face in 2012. The team has won just two games and has not defeated an opponent since its 17-16 win over Penn State on Sept. 8.
This Saturday's game is yet another one that looks difficult on paper. Virginia will head down the coast to play North Carolina State. With five wins, the Wolfpack would become bowl eligible with a victory on Saturday.
With four games to play, Virginia will need to win out if it hopes to play past the regular season. It has not been bowl eligible in back-to-back seasons since 2005.
A season ago, the Cavaliers dropped a home game to the Wolfpack, 28-14. Virginia has not won at North Carolina State since 1999.
Game time: 12:30 p.m. ET
