Despite some close calls on Saturday, the top four teams in the Associated Press rankings remained unchanged in Week 11. Alabama remained an unanimous No. 1 after coming back to defeat the LSU Tigers, who fell four spots to No. 9. Oregon and Kansas State remained at No. 2 and No. 3. Notre Dame stayed at No. 4 despite their overtime scare at home against Pitt.
The Georgia Bulldogs and the Ohio State Buckeyes received the same amount of votes, tying for the No. 5 spot in the poll. Florida follows those two teams at No. 7, with in-state rival Florida State behind them at No. 8. Fellow ACC school Clemson rounds out the top ten.
Previously-ranked teams Texas and Rutgers returned to the rankings following victories on Saturday, while Toledo made the rankings for the first time since 2001.
