Alabama remained the unanimous No. 1 in the coaches poll after their impressive victory on the road against LSU. The Tigers dropped four spots in the rankings to No. 9 following the loss.

Oregon remained No. 2 after defeating No. 22 USC on the road, while Kansas State is still ranked No. 3 after their victory knocked Oklahoma State out the polls. Notre Dame stayed at No. 4 following their upset scare at home against Pitt, while the Georgia Bulldogs jumped up one spot to No. 5.

Florida State moved up one spot to No. 6 in the rankings, while in-state rival Florida trails them at No. 7. Clemson moves up one spot to No. 8, while undefeated Louisville rounds out the top ten.

Three Big XII teams dropped out of the rankings, with West Virginia and Texas Tech joining Oklahoma State. Rutgers, Northwestern and UCLA all entered the Top 25 after being unranked last week.
