Bucks vs. Wizards: Milwaukee leads by 9 at half

The Washington Wizards trail the Milwaukee Bucks, 57-46, after one half at the Verizon Center. The Bucks shot 50 percent from the floor in the first half, and got hot from behind the arc as they built their nine-point lead. The Wizards, on the other hand, have hit just one of six attempts from three-point range, and went cold in the second quarter. Washington started fast, hitting six of their first six shots and jumping out to a big lead early. They shot 61 percent in the first quarter, but it was an entirely different story in the second.

Mike Dunleavy, who lit up the Wiz at times last season, provided 10 points off the bench. Big man Ersan Ilyasova led all scorers with 11 points, and drilled two three-pointers as he stretched the Wizards' defense.

Emeka Okafor led Washington with 10 points while Trevor Ariza chipped in eight. But Randy Wittman will need his backcourt duo of Bradley Beal and A.J. Price to continue their production in the second half if he wants his team to pick up their first win of the season. Beal has eight points while Price already has six assists as he continues to step up and facilitate the offense in John Wall's absence
