Wednesday night, roughly 24 hours after The Washington Post reported that the Washington Wizards passed on a potential trade for James Harden, the Wizards will complete a back-to-back in Houston to play the team Harden actually wound up with, the Houston Rockets.
Over at SB Nation's Wizards blog, Bullets Forever, Mike Prada gave his take on the Harden rumor here and here. In terms of action on the court, SB Nation's Wizards editor Thomas Pruitt says the Rockets, who enter with a record of 9-11 and a three-game losing streak, still have "the best pick-and-roll backcourt in the NBA" between Harden and Jeremy Lin.
Our content partners at Monumental Sports and Entertainment continue their "On The Road with SB Nation" video preview series as Tom Martin of SB Nation's Rockets blog, The Dream Shake, gives his thoughts on tonight's match-up. Also, be sure to check out "Fast Break" with Casey Phillips of WashWizards.com and Wizards radio play-by-play voice Dave Johnson.
