Pistons vs. Wizards: Game time, TV schedule and more

The Wizards will try to get revenge on the Pistons after losing to them by 32 points Friday night in Detroit.

USA TODAY Sports

On the second night of a home-and-home, the Washington Wizards have a measure of self-respect they need to gain back. In the first game, Friday night in Auburn Hills, the Detroit Pistons embarrassed the Wizards, 100-68, after having lost their previous six games.

The Wizards, much as they've tried to shown us otherwise, are professional athletes. Although it may have been beaten out of them by now, they have pride in themselves and their basketball ability. The Wizards (7-21) may not beat the Pistons Saturday night, but it wouldn't be unlikely. What is definitely unlikely is them being blown out again. They didn't show up Friday night, expecting, for some bizarre reason, to be able to hang with the Pistons without maximum effort. They won't make that mistake again.

Hey Wizards fans, want to take me up on it? Though tickets are going for just $7 now, I'm sure closer to game time they can be yours for roughly 30 cents. It probably won't be a blowout!

Game Date/Time: Saturday, Dec. 22, 7 p.m. ET

Location: Verizon Center, Washington, D.C.

TV: Comcast SportsNet
