Having dropped seven consecutive games in a row, the Washington Wizards will have a couple of days off before hosting Kyrie Irving and the Cleveland Cavaliers at home on Wednesday. The Cavaliers are just 6-23 on the season, but one of their six wins came on the first day of the season against the Wizards.
With Christmas right around the corner, the marquee games are set for Christmas Day on Tuesday while zero games are set for Monday.
Starting things off on Christmas is a divisional game between the Boston Celtics and Brooklyn Nets at noon ET. Things got heated last time these two teams played, resulting in ejections, suspensions and fines. The game can be seen on ESPN.
After that, Steve Nash and the Lakers will play Carmelo Anthony and the Knicks at 3:00 p.m. ET on ABC. The Knicks dominated the last meeting between the two teams, but Nash was sidelined.
The marquee game of the day is the third game on Tuesday when Kevin Durant and the Thunder play LeBron James and the Heat in a rematch from last year's NBA Finals. The game can be seen on ABC at 5:30 p.m.
