Military Bowl 2012: San Jose State vs. Bowling Green odds and lines

The San Jose St. Spartans enter the 2012 Military Bowl as 7 1/2-point favorites over the Bowling Green Falcons, according to the folks over at Odds Shark. Currently riding the six-game winning streak, the Spartans haven't lost a game since a 49-27 defeat on Oct. 13 against Utah State, now ranked No. 22 nationally.

With two of the top-25 scoring defenses in the nation hooking up for this game, the current over/under for the game is set at 44.5 points. Bowling Green has the eighth-best scoring defense in the nation, allowing 15.8 points per game, while San Jose State ranks 25th, allowing 21.4 points per game.

Bowling Green has also played well of late, winning six of its final seven games, but that wasn't enough for the Falcons to reach the MAC Championship Game. Still, with all six victories being by two scores or more and the lone loss being a narrow 31-24 defeat against Kent State, the Falcons aren't exactly lacking momentum.
