The Washington Redskins (6-6) , winners of three games in a row, have jumped out to a 14-7 lead after the first quarter in the "Beltway Bowl" against the visiting Baltimore Ravens (9-3).
As has been the case all year long, rookies Alfred Morris and Robert Griffin III have led the way for Washington. Morris, who broke the Redskins rookie record for carries in the quarter, has totaled 55 yards on the ground and a touchdown on eight rushes. Griffin is six-of-eight passing for 122 yards and a touchdown, a 4-yard toss to Josh Morgan on the game's opening drive. The rook also endured this huge hit midway through the quarter:
The Baltimore offense answered the Washington opening drive score with a touchdown of their own, on a 19-yard pass from Joe Flacco to Anquan Boldin. Ray Rice has added 66 yards on the ground for the Ravens on just four carries.
