No. 14-ranked Gonzaga College High School (Washington, D.C.) will visit No. 29 DeMatha Catholic in Hayattsville, MD. in a ESPN Network high school showcase and Washington Catholic Athletic Conference game Friday night (7:30 p.m. on ESPN2).
The game feature Gonzaga's Kris Jenkins, the No. 40 prospect by ESPN recruiting, and Nate Britt, the No. 2-ranked point guard who's committed to North Carolina, while DeMatha will showcase power forward Jerami Grant, No. 41 and committed, to Syracuse, and point guard James Robinson, No. 45.
On Jan. 1, Jenkins tallied 27 points in a 76-74 victory against Gonzaga. Jenkins enters the game averaging about 20 points and eight rebounds per game.
Since 2001, DeMatha holds an 18-11 edge in the series between the schools.
