Maryland Vs. Virginia Score Update: Terps Tie It Up 31-31 After Trailing Early

The Maryland Terrapins traveled to the John Paul Jones arena to take on the Virginia Cavaliers, but they got off to a slow start offensively. The Cavs took an early 7-0 lead as it took a few minutes for the Terps to even crack the scoreboard. Behind the play of guard Terrell Stoglin however, the Terps were able to take the lead over Virginia late in the first half.

Behind Stoglin's 14 points in the first half, the Terps enter halftime tied with Virginia 31-31. Guard Nick Faust also picked up nine points in the first half as he and Stoglin sparked Maryland's rally. For the Cavs, forward Mike Scott will be a point of emphasis for the Terps defense as he's picked up 16 points already in the first half.
