Georgetown Vs. Providence Score Update: Hoyas Hold 31-20 Lead

The Georgetown Hoyas hit the road to take on Providence in a Big East matchup as the Hoyas try to win back to back games coming off their loss to Syracuse. Georgetown's offense got off to a slow start but they were able to pull ahead in the first half and head into halftime with a 31-20 lead. Jason Clark leads the Hoyas in scoring in the first half with eight points while Hollis Thompson picked up only three points in the first half, hitting on just one of his five shots.

Providence battled back after trailing by as much as 10 points in the first half to pull close, but the Hoyas retook an 11 point lead right before halftime. The Friars spread the ball around more so than Georgetown did, which also showed up in the scoring with all five starters sinking at least one shot in the first half. Kadeem Betts leads the Friars in scoring with 4 points.
