A bit of an oddity occurred yesterday in North Carolina State's 76-62 loss to Florida State. Two fans were thrown out of the game, which in itself isn't too strange, but those two fans happened to be two of the better players in N.C State hoops history: Tom Gugliotta and Chris Corchiani. Both players' jerseys hang from the rafter at RBC Center, in fact.
Gugliotta, the sixth pick in the first round of the 1992 NBA Draft by the Washington Bullets, and Corchiani were seated behind the scorer's table until being ejected from the game by official Karl Hess with 6:40 left. Hess declined to comment several times after the game about the incident.
After the jump, you can see two school legends get tossed by an overzealous referee.
