The Washington Wizards continue their road trip out west on Monday night against the Phoenix Suns. The Wizards have played improved basketball under Randy Wittman and that was evident at the start of this five-game trip. The Wizards notched their second and third road wins of the season with victories in Toronto and Portland. They still have the second worst record in the Eastern Conference but are closing the gap between themselves and the next grouping of Eastern conference cellar dwellers.

The Bobcats continue to languish in last place in the Southeast at 4-26, and are on pace for the worst all-time winning percentage. They are unquestionably the worst team in the NBA. The Wizards, meanwhile, are 5-8 over their past 13 games - a dramatic improvement from the first month of the season.
