NFL Draft 2012 Rumors: Redskins Talk To Mike Adams At Combine

The Washington Redskins are one of the teams that is rumored to trade up in the Draft in an effort to take Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III, but there is a very large chance that trade doesn't work out and they will have to find something else to do with their first round pick. One option is to trade back, and according to Mocking The Draft, they are already talking to prospects that could be available if they go that route.

Ohio State left tackle Mike Adams told reporters at the NFL Combine the Cleveland Browns and Washington Redskins have talked to him about moving to right tackle in the NFL. Adams is expected to be a mid-first-round pick, so both teams may just be kicking the tires in the event of a trade back. The Browns may also target Adams with the 22nd pick in the first round.

They could also be hoping that Adams is still on the board when their second round pick rolls around but that seems unlikely based on the discussions about Adams recently and his performance at the combine.
