ANIMATED: John Wall Slams Alley Oop, Ball Slams Off Face

The Wizards' John Wall is the reigning MVP of the Rising Stars Challenge game, and he's continued to put on a show in the 2012 edition. Wall had a highlight block of Norris Cole in the first half and has a slew of dunks and attempted dunks in the second half, including a monster alley-oop dunk on a 2-on-1 breakaway. He quickly crossed the ball to New Jersey's Marshon Brooks and then cut to the rim to take Brooks's alley-oop. Wall controlled the ball with one hand and then slammed it through.

Unfortunately for Wall, there was a little blow back from the emphatic slam. The ball came right through the net and smacked Wall in the face. A slow-motion animated gif of the follow through after the jump:
