Maryland Vs. Clemson: Terps Try To End Two-Game Skid

The Terrapins have lost two straight ACC games, but they'll get a little bit of a break as they face Clemson on Tuesday.

The Maryland Terrapins hit the road tonight, heading to Clemson to take on the Tigers. The game starts at 7 and can be seen on ESPNU. Our Maryland blog Testudo Times points out that this could be a good opportunity for Maryland coach Mark Turgeon to get something that has eluded them all year long.

Mark Turgeon is still yet to win a true road game in his tenure in College Park. The Terrapins have had some opportunities - the overtime against Miami stands out, and the N.C. State game in Raleigh was a chance as well. But this is by far their most winnable road game yet, and probably their second-best opportunity of the season (Georgia Tech will likely be the best shot).

Mark Turgeon has done a lot of things right in his first season in College Park, but if he goes the whole year without winning a true road game, that could be a problem. This is a very good opportunity to get that win. Not a must win by any means, but it would be a good one to get.

We'll have plenty more on this game throughout the day on SB Nation D.C., so keep it locked to this StoryStream for more details. For more on the Terps, as always, please head over to Testudo Times.
