Georgetown Vs. Syracuse Score Update: Hoyas Lead 31-27 At Halftime

The Georgetown Hoyas came to the Carrier Dome to take on their bitter rivals, the Syracuse Orange. The game went back and forth through much of the first half with the teams trading buckets as the lead bounced back and forth the whole first half. Georgetown took a five point lead at one point, but 'Cuse battled back to tie the game and take the lead before a Hollis Thompson three-pointer gave the Hoyas back the lead.

The Hoyas were able to maintain that lead until halftime, leading 31-27, and significantly out rebounded Syracuse in the first half. If Syracuse can start pulling down some rebounds, the Hoyas might sweat a little bit as the Orange have hung right with them.
