NCAA Tournament 2012 Bracket Update: Norfolk State Is No. 15 Seed, Will Face Missouri On Friday

Norfolk State will be a No. 15 seed and face off against Missouri in the 2012 NCAA Tournament.

The 2012 NCAA Tournament bracket and field has been announced, and the Norfolk State Spartans will receive a No. 15 seed in the West region. The Spartan's first opponent will be the Missouri Tigers, and they will play on Friday, March 16 in Omaha, Neb. If the Spartans win their first matchup, they will face the winner of No. 7 Florida and No. 10 Virginia on Sunday, March 18

The Spartans earned the No. 15 seed by winning the 2012 MEAC Tournament championship. The Spartans topped Bethune-Cookman, 73-70, on Saturday to earn their first-ever NCAA Tournament berth.
