Now that the NCAA and NIT Tournament fields have been announced Sunday evening, some of the lesser known postseason tournament are also announcing their participants. One such postseason event is the 2012 CollegeInsider.com Tournament, which has included the American Eagles of the Patriot League in their field.

American's season ended with a loss in the semifinal of the 2012 Patriot League Tournament to eventual champion Lehigh. The Eagles finished the regular season with a 20-11 record, the fourth time in five years head coach Jeff Jones had notched at least 20 wins in a season.
