With their 74-59 win over Belmont, the Georgetown Hoyas won their first NCAA Tournament game since 2008. In their Round of 32 match-up, the Hoyas take on a team trying to shed a similar history of recent tournament frustration.

The North Carolina State Wolfpack won NCAA Championships in 1974 and 1983, but have fallen into the shadow of North Carolina and Duke over the past two decades. If they beat the Hoyas Sunday, North Carolina State would advance to their first Sweet Sixteen since 2005. That run was the Wolfpack's deepest penetration into the NCAA Tournament since 1989, when they reached the same round under the guidance of the late Jim Valvano.

The key to the game will be whether the Hoyas' perimeter defense maintains its effectiveness from its Round of 64 win over Belmont. The Hoyas held the Bruins to 38.9 percent shooting from the floor (21-for-54), including 10-for-27 from beyond the arc. By contrast, North Carolina State shot 58.5 percent from the field in their 79-65 win over San Diego State.

Here is the time and TV information for Sunday's Midwest Region match-up between the No. 3 seed Georgetown Hoyas and No. 11 seed North Carolina State Wolfpack:

Time and Date: 12:15 p.m., Sunday, March 18.
