The Washington Wizards announced prior to tonight's game against the Memphis Grizzlies that they have signed former Sienna Saint guard/forward Edwin Ubiles to a 10-day contract. He will be available for the team's use tonight.
Ubiles was playing for the Dakota Wizards of the NBA Developmental League prior to having his contract picked up, where he was averaging 20.4 points per game and 5.1 rebounds per game while shooting an impressive 50 percent from the floor.
Ubiles ranks third in career scoring at Sienna and is looking to become the first Saint to appear in an NBA game.
