James Madison Vs. UNC-Wilmington: Seahawks Lead Dukes 34-25 At Halftime

On the strength of a 13-3 run at the end of the first half, the UNC-Wilmington Seahawks lead the James Madison Dukes in the first game of the Colonial Athletic Association Men's Basketball Tournament in Richmond, VA, 34-25. The Seahawks are being led in scoring by guard Keith Rendleman with 12 points and forward Cedrick Williams with 11 points.

The Dukes on the other hand have three players, guards Humpty Hitchens and A.J. Davis and center Gene Swindle, score five points each. The Seahawks have out rebounded the Dukes by a total of 15-10. The Seahawks have also brought down seven offensive rebounds, three by Rendleman and two by Williams, to James Madison's two.

Both teams are shooting the ball evenly with the Seahawks shooting 43 percent from the field and the Dukes shooting 41 percent. If the Dukes want to extend their stay in Richmond they have to get more aggressive on the defensive glass and not allow more second chance opportunities by the Seahawks.
