In the second of four first round games at the CAA Men's Basketball Tournament, the Delaware Blue Hens lead the Towson Tigers, 36-25 at halftime. The leading scorers for the Blue Hens are forward Josh Brinkley and guard Devon Saddler, each with 10 points.
Forward Robert Nwankwo currently leads the Tigers with eight points and eight rebounds. Despite the Tigers out rebounding the Blue Hens, Delaware's offense has been more consistent with hitting shots. Delaware is averaging 40 percent of their shots made to Towson's 21 percent.
If the Tigers want to get back into this game, shooting has to be the key factor. They are doing a good job with rebounding and with causing turnovers but poor shooting has them down at the current stage. The Blue Hens on the other hand need to up the aggressiveness on the boards and keep hitting their shots. Doing that will earn them the match-up against Old Dominion on Saturday.
