Hawks Vs. Wizards: Washington Loses Lead, And Loses Game, 95-92

The Washington Wizards scored just 14 points in the fourth quarter and lost a double-digit lead for the second straight night as the Atlanta Hawks roared back to win, 95-92 at Verizon Center Saturday night.

The Wizards led 78-68 after three quarters and led by as many as 16 points (73-57) when Jordan Crawford hit a jumper with 2:36 to go in the third quarter. But they couldn't keep their offense going through the final quarter and Atlanta eventually caught and passed them for good when Joe Johnson hit a three-pointer with 46.8 seconds to go that gave the Hawks a 93-92 lead.

Crawford had a chance to give the Wizards the lead, but his jumper missed, and after Johnson made two foul shots to make the score 95-92, John Wall's last-ditch three-point attempt clanked off the rim.

Nene led all scorers with 21 points to go with 11 rebounds. Crawford added 20 points, but no other Wizard reached double digits. Four Atlanta starters reached double digits, with Josh Smith leading the way with 20 points.
