Patriot League Basketball Tournament 2012: Bracket, Schedule And More

The semifinals of the 2012 Patriot League Championship kick off Saturday at 2:00 PM EST when the second-seeded Lehigh Mountain Hawks (24-7, 11-3 Patriot) host the third-seeded American University Eagles (20-10, 10-4). The winner will advance to Wednesday's championship game.

American advanced to the seminfinals by defeating Army 57-40 on Wednesday night. Lehigh moved on with a 70-57 triumph over Colgate.

The Eagles and Mountain Hawks split their two regular season contests, with each winning on their home floor. This is the fourth time American and Lehigh have met in the postseason, and first since a 79-57 Lehigh win over American in the 2010 conference tournament.

Both teams have had success in the Patriot League, with American winning the conference championship in 2008 and 2009, and Lehigh taking home the crown in 2010.
