Georgetown Vs. Marquette Final Score: Hoyas Handled By Golden Eagles, 83-69

The Georgetown Hoyas traveled to take on the Marquette Golden Eagles on Saturday afternoon, hoping to improve their standings in the Big East, but instead were beaten down by Marquette to the tune of 83-69. The Hoyas trailed by a good margin at halftime and just couldn't get the offense going to catch back up as the Eagles pulled away to cruise to the victory. The Hoyas struggled to slow down Jae Crowder, who picked up 26 points and 14 rebounds for an easy double-double on the day.

For Georgetown, forwards Hollis Thompson and Otto Porter were both able to put down 19 points, but outside of that the Hoyas weren't able to get much more offensive production missing on way too many three-point attempts. Jason Clark also picked up 11 points, but Georgetown barely got any production out of their bench in the game.
