The CAA men's basketball tournament continues on Saturday afternoon as Northeastern takes on VCU. The Huskies and the Rams are all tied up at halftime at 26, and VCU is trying to extend their three-game winning streak to four. Northeastern is hanging tough however, trying to pull the upset in the first-round of the tournament. Joel Smith already has nearly half the points for the Huskies, picking up 12 points in the first half.
VCU is having problems getting their offense going against the Huskies as they try to avoid the early first-round knock out. Treveon Graham leads the Rams in scoring off the bench at the half with just six points, but the Rams have three other players with at least 4 points. While it's a low scoring affair earlier, someone is going to have to take command for VCU if they want to make it out with a victory.
