July 28th, 2012 will be a very busy day for soccer fans in the Washington D.C. Metro area. We already knew that Chelsea and AC Milan will be playing a game at FedEx Field in Landover, but now there is news of another high-level exhibition to be played just a little bit up the road in Baltimore. According to Soccer By Ives, Liverpool and Tottenham will play a match that same day at M&T Bank Stadium.

"This third fixture is a great opportunity for two of the biggest names in English football to showcase the strength of the Premier League to a North American audience – something we know will appeal to our many fans who live across the USA," Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy said in a club release.

These two teams are both giants of the Premier League, and getting a league fixture like that to play in the exhibition game could be good for the fans in Baltimore. The familiarity between those two clubs should provide a much smoother game for the fans. Here are the details for the game.

Tickets will go on sale Tuesday through Ticketmaster and the Baltimore Ravens.
