Jimmy Patsos Wins Skip Prosser Award

Loyolay (Md.) head basketball coach Jimmy Patsos was named the winner of the 2012 Skip Prosser Man of the Year Award at an awards banquet held by CollegeInsider.com at the Final Four.

Patsos led the Greyhounds to a 24-9 season and the team's first appearance in the NCAA Tournament since 1994. He has also already been named the MAAC Coach of the Year for the 2011-2012 and the National Association of Basketball Coaches District I Coach of the Year as well.

The award is named in memory of Skip Prosser, who coached at Loyola, Xavier and Wake Forrest before his untimely passing in 2007. It is awarded in recognition of achievement on the court as well as showing integrity off of it.
