Connecticut Vs. Notre Dame Final Score: Fighting Irish Win In OT, 83-75

The Connecticut Huskies held a 36-33 lead over No. 1 seeded Notre Dame at halftime in the NCAA Women's Final Four Tournament, but the Fighting Irish weren't going to go down easy. Notre Damn fought back in the second half and tied the game late to send it into over time at 67-67, then picked up the 83-75 win in overtime.

In the overtime period, the Fighting Irish carried the momentum and it was all Notre Dame, out scoring UConn 16-8 in the overtime period. Behind Natalie Novosel's 20 points and Devereaux Peters' double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds, Notre Dame was able to pick up the win and advance to the Finals in the 2012 Women's Tournament. Skylar Diggins also picked up 19 points for Notre Dame while Stefanie Dolson led UConn in scoring with 20 points and 8 rebounds.
