Saturday afternoon at Nationals Park was the first of four "Pups in the Park" events being held this season, and the canine followers of the hometown baseball franchise came out in droves, being treated to a 3-2 Nationals win in extra innings over the Miami Marlins.

Before the 1:05 p.m first pitch, owners held a pre-game pup parade around the warning track. Proceeds from the eight dollar dog tickets benefited the Washington Human Society. After the jump, courtesy of @NationalsPR, check out one four-legged admirer scoring an autograph from new Washington lefty Gio Gonzalez.
