The Washington Nationals have had two games off thanks to a rain delay and a travel day, so they should be totally rested when they start their series against the San Diego Padres on Tuesday night. I hope you got a good night's sleep on Monday because it's a late start. First pitch is scheduled for 10 pm and you can find the game on MASN2.
Gio Gonzalez will take the mound for the Nationals after his scheduled start against the Marlins was rained out on Sunday. Gonzalez has been on a roll for the last two starts, throwing 14.0 innings while only allowing just four hits and two walks while striking out 15. After a rough first start of the season Gonzalez has been on an absolute roll. Can he keep it going against the Padres?
We'll have plenty more on this series over the next few days here on SB Nation D.C., so keep it locked to this StoryStream for all the latest news and updates as they become available.
