After reports surfacing of Howard University suspending their athletics surfaced on Wednesday, and then the discovery of the university only suspending a handfull of student-athletes, Howard University announced Friday that they have reinstated all athletic teams and athletes.
The university announced the action on its Facebook page Friday afternoon.
"Student athletes who were declared ineligible to compete by Howard University last Friday have been reinstated. As a result of this decision, all spring sports teams will compete as scheduled for the remainder of the season. The University continues to work diligently to complete our review. Thanks for your support of Howard and our athletics program."
The student-athletes were suspended while an internal investigation by the university took place. It is still unknown what exactly what the findings of the two-day investigation were.
