The second round of the The Players Championship tees off Friday morning from Ponte Vedra, with a loaded leaderboard and two Europeans tied at the top of the leaderboard. Martin Laird and Ian Poulter both shot low-round 65's on Thursday, and will look to build on that momentum against what will like be a tougher course setup. Laird will go off the No. 1 tee at 8:08 a.m. ET, looking to duplicate his bogey-free round at Sawgrass. Poulter, on the other, hand, will start on No. 10 with an afternoon tee time of 1:39 p.m. ET. Poulter came in in 31 on Thursday, blistering the back side to finish 7-under.
Golf Channel will continue its extended coverage on Friday, beginning the broadcast at 1:00 p.m. ET and running through 7:00 p.m. ET. The afternoon coverage will almost certainly focus on the superstar group of Tiger Woods, Rickie Fowler, and Hunter Mahan. That group goes off at 1:49 p.m. ET, with Woods potentially battling along the cut line for the second straight week on a Friday afternoon. A complete schedule of tee times below:
